A Literary Sin: On Giving Away Books 
I feel as though this woman saw into my soul and then wrote about it. We’re kindred spirits, obviously.
In going through my things, its the books I find hardest the part with. I pack them away in boxes, whispering to them, “I promise I will be back for you and maybe one day, we will have a home of our own where you can live a good life on a shelf, and I will read you now and then.” But for now, my nomadic life does not have room for them, so I pack them away and refuse to give them up.
